Centered around Central Asia, it traces the historical boundaries redefined and named by power, from the Timurid Empire to the construction of contemporary nation-states. The work uses AI-generated imagery to present cultural remnants and multi-ethnic memories overlooked by mainstream narratives. Light symbolizes the center of civilization, the gaze of empires, and the authority over the writing of history, while shadow represents voiceless groups, migrating tribes, and fragmented truths.
