《Distance, Displayed》 - A Polyphonic Screenwork

"本作品以实验性影像语言探讨亲密关系中的情感疏离，选取开放空间、私密空间与过渡空间作为架构，采用同步并置的三屏投影结构，在相同的时间点展现三种空间对同一段关系的异质影响。该项目结合空间理论与心理学研究，借助电影文本与行为表现的观察，呈现现代都市中情感流动与空间控制之间的张力，是一次将视觉装置、叙事性影像与社会研究交织的实践。
This work explores the emotional estrangement in intimate relationships through experimental visual language. Three typical urban spaces - open space, private space and transitional space - are selected as the framework. A three-screen projection structure with synchronous and juxtaposed elements is adopted to present the heterogeneous influences of these three spaces on the same relationship at the same time point. This project combines spatial theory and psychological research, and relies on the observation of film texts and behavioral manifestations to present the tension between emotional flow and space control in modern cities. It is an art practice that interweaves visual installations, narrative images and social research."
